The Heidelberg Research Laboratory for the Ancient Near East
Become part of a group of young Ancient Near Easternists dedicated to a collective research endeavour: In the 1st Heidelberg Research Laboratory for the Ancient Near East (17.6. – 26.7.2019), ten motivated young researchers have the opportunity to explore a corpus of unpublished cuneiform texts together with a team of renowned specialists, with a collective publication resulting from this intensive collaboration.
The Heidelberg Research Laboratory for the Ancient Near East's singular character is distinguished by the sense of community between its teachers and those taught, the international nature of its participants, and the opportunity to foster promising career relationships. Here, innovative approaches to Assyriological research will be developed and tested.
